Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Names, dates of birth, or other terms entered in a search box are sent to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and returns its result. Amelia County Warrant Records does not keep a first-party log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you email the site, the message may be retained so it can be answered. It is handled within the organization and is not shared outside it unless a legal duty requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
A page request can create basic technical records about the visit, including:
- Your device's internet protocol (IP) address.
- The browser name and version used to open the page.
- Device category and operating system.
- Which pages loaded and the time spent on them.
- The referring website, when one is supplied.
- The date and time of each page request.
Cookies and Analytics
Small cookie files may be stored in your browser to measure page use, such as which sections draw visits and where browsing ends. Analytics tools group those figures to help assess site use. Browser controls can block cookies, though a feature may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
- Maintaining site operation and page speed.
- Passing search requests to the provider that runs the selected tool.
- Learning which information is useful and where changes may help.
- Finding and repairing errors or other technical faults.
- Displaying advertising that may reflect general interests.
No Warrant Data on File
Amelia County Warrant Records does not host, build, maintain, or sell a database of named warrants. It provides general directions to the offices and court systems where Amelia County case information may be checked. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report or a file about another person. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies supply some search boxes. Information entered there is handled under the provider's own privacy terms, including its choices about retention and sharing. Amelia County Warrant Records does not set those terms. Read the provider's notice before sending it a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to Virginia court pages, Amelia County and Sheriff's Office pages, laws, and outside services. When you follow one, the destination's own privacy terms apply. Check them before entering personal information.
Some ad partners may use their own tools to follow activity across websites and select ads. Their tracking is governed by their systems and policies.

Personal information is not sold by this site. Information may be shared with the following service groups:
- Search providers that process a query entered in their box.
- Analytics providers that measure traffic and page performance.
- Ad networks that serve advertisements on the site.
- A government or law-enforcement body when a valid legal order compels it.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security steps are used to protect information handled by the site. No internet service can promise perfect security, and a breach can never be ruled out. We work to reduce that risk without claiming it can be removed.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If a minor's information appears to have been sent here, contact the site so it can be reviewed and removed.
Your Data Rights

- Request a copy of personal information held about you.
